My name is Marlene. In 2020, after the birth of my second child, I started making breastmilk jewellery. I used my experience (over 10 years) in making handmade jewellery from different materials. Since then, I have developed a lot in terms of technique and design, which led to the establishment of Makidy Mother's Milk Jewellery in January 2021. Since then, I have dedicated myself exclusively to making these wonderful memories, the making of which is not only my profession, but also my passion.
I have been living in Berlin for 14 years, originally I come from Seville, which is in Andalusia / southern Spain.
I started making jewellery from various materials 15 years ago. Handicrafts are my great passion.
I am also a mum of 2, after the birth of my first daughter ( 2017) I had a great desire to have my own breastmilk jewellery.
For me, breastfeeding and bonding with my daughter was simply indescribable, the most beautiful and pure thing I had ever experienced in my life. I didn't want this feeling, the whole breastfeeding experience to fade with time. With the birth of my son (2020) and a new and proper milk shot, I specialised in breast milk jewellery and founded Makidy Breast Milk Jewellery.
Since then, I have been allowed to process your breast milk and other natural materials into high-quality breast milk jewellery. The name MaKiDy was created from the initials of my children and me as a symbol for the bond between mother and child.
I have had two long breastfeeding sessions and know how emotional and personal this jewellery is to you and will personalise it for you with the appropriate love, attention and patience.

The website was designed and developed by my husband Fernando, as you can see at the bottom of the page.
